ANALYTICAL PSYCHOLOGY & THE SHADOW (JUNG, 1933)
The 7-step test structure is rooted in Carl Jung’s models of the human psyche. The sequence intentionally forces friction between the Persona (the socially acceptable mask, tested in step 1) and the Shadow (the repressed, unconscious self, tested in steps 4, 5, and 6). The final diagnostic output evaluates the subject's capacity to integrate these conflicting domains.
